Repurposed Junk recreated into a Vintage Redesign Style Jewelry Display just in time for my vendor booth at Junk Market Under Glass.
In the beginning... the pile of parts.
U shaped portion was part of an old table leg, and I purchased it at a garage sale. The base wood was a utility pool, that my neighbor salvaged, had planed at a saw mill and gave to me. Finials purchased years ago at an occasional sale.
My husband helped me a lot with the construction of this. He was the brains behind making it stable, as was my brother and sister-in-law. A true group project.
I patinaed the shiny silver L hooks to be vintage and worn looking to go with the "European Vintage Shabby Look" that I use to display my Mimi-Toria's Designs jewelry.
A photo showing the left side of the display and some of the jewelry merchandised on it. I can fit 9 necklaces from it with the way we designed it.
Lovely patina on the chippy white finials aka vintage wood curtain rod ends.
My finished product indoors.

While shopping a friends garage/junk sale this Summer, I stumbled across a partially built display out of wonderful junk finds. A collaberation of brain work from my brother, sister in law, husband, neighbor and myself added to the beginnings and this is what we came up with.
I'm so happy with results and so thankful for all of the help!
