My number one wrapping buddy this year is the button. Why? Because they come in so many different sizes, shapes, and colors. Also, in many cases you can snap up bow embellishing buttons for a little more than a song. Fa la la, la, la!
Basics in black and white. The domino is the little black dress of wrapping at #2.
Buckle up for safety! Say helloo to #3. Belt buckles are fabulous embellishments for gifts, and make wonderful napkin rings. Don't forget about vintage shoe buckles. They're pretty nifty too!
Feather your nest with these fluffy fineries. Friends of a feather come in on this list at #4.
#5...Clothes pins. A little clip here, a little clamp there, here a clip, there a clamp, everywhere a clip clamp. This was not as easy to write as you may think!
No, no, no these are certainly not tacky. On the contrary my friends, they are divine indeed. At #6, upholstery tacks are a must have in your bucket of goodies. I like to wrap ribbon around a package and tack it right to the box. What would you do with these? Don't be shy...show us your junk wizardry.
Are you all geared up to get wrapping. If not, pick some of these up and set your wheels in motion.
Tick, tock...tick,tock... it's time to rock! Rock the world of your friends and family that is by presenting them with a gift wrapped in a timeless fashion. Yay for #8!
Well lookie what made the list right here at #9. Keys of course. Use them and you will achieve package perfection. They make pretty darn cute necklaces too!
#10...Beautimous glass baubles. Love, love, love these! They are ideal for making a package look extra fancy shmancy, but they also work well on the tree or in a garland.
He sees you when you're sleeping and he knows when you're awake! Hmmm.. I know everyone is on the nice list. We are junkers afterall! Don't forget to have plenty of Scrabble and Anagram letters in your holiday trinket box. They have many applications during the holidays, but my fav is to leave Santa a note with his milk and cookies all done up board game style!
And rounding out the top 12....You didn't think you were going to get away from this post without seeing these little letters did you? You know me and my metal stencils. I do indeed have a special place in my heart for them. Cards, packages, table settings, and so much more. The holidays would not be the same without them. Ho, Ho, Ho!

I look so forward to this time of year. It gives me the opportunity to play with all of my little pieces of junkand not feel guilty about it. After all, i'm wrapping presents for others! You know the old saying..."It's the thought that counts." What better way to show someone you love them than by presenting them with a gift that is bundled up in a personalized package. Here are some of my favorites. Please feel free to share what's in your junk bucket for the holidays!

So about this post. It is close to being one of my favorites you've done. I mentioned today that I like "smalls" and this is right up my alley. Just love what you've displayed here and like others mentioned, wow would this make a very cool "Junk" calender. I'd buy it in a heartbeat girl. Love this post!
Too bad both of my families quit gift exchanges. I'll have to use they for my friends as at least they'll appreciate the coolness this stuff represents. Thanks again for the inspiration!!!

Kari is right Sue. I'd hang your junk calender up anyday. I especially love the belt buckle and gear ideas!
Some of the items I will be using for trimming packages are;
Vintage BINGO cards, punched round or cut like retail tags.
Rhinestone buttons removed from a child's sweater - from Paris no less.
Clothespins decoupaged with pretty papers.
Vintage ricrac and sequins given to me by my mom.
Thanks for the great ideas!
