The following images are from the interior of Piccadilly Prairie. As you can see it is all dressed up in summers finest. Love the balls in a net!
Laterns and boxes...summertime favorites.
Yummy vignettes that show you how to pull a look together.
I love this bright colorway for the dog days of summer..
Pretty as a picture!
You will find eclectic combinations of cool junk.
Who doesnt like blocks?
These incubators have been around for a long time and I expect will be for a long time to come. They are timeless in design and work with any decor.
They provide great storage too. Bonus!
Metal cases...another long standing favorite of mine

It is one of my greatest joys to be able to promote and support great vendors/shopkeepers through this website. Lacey Brooker formerly known as portia/katze is opening a new "occassional sale" establishment called Piccadilly Prairie, in Minneapolis Minnesota. I had the pleasure of getting to know Lacey as a vendor at the inaugural JUNKMARKET Under Glass brought to you by Otten Bros. last March and since then have become a friend and a big fan of what she does. I encourage vendors not to follow in the footsteps of others, but rather to carve their own path. Lacey has done this and you will be able to see for yourself at her own store as well as at the upcoming JUNKMARKET Under Glass to be held at Otten Bros. September 7 - 10, 2011. Her store embodies her tag line, "Yesterday's materials, todays designs".

I will be featuring the vendors who make up the cast of JUNKMARKET Under Glass over the next six weeks. I'm kicking it off with Lacey and Piccadilly Prairie. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know these folks as much as I have. They are an amazing and very talented group of people! I hope to see you at Piccadilly Praire this weekend and at JUNKMARKET Under Glass this September!

GRAND OPENING DATES:
JULY 28-31 (THURS-SUN)

Hours:
Thursday 10-6
Friday 10-5
Saturday 10-5
Sunday 1-5

Store is located at 5014 Xerxes Ave S, two doors up from Dunn Bros (in the old I Yoga space)..
We will be holding a drawing each day for a $50 gift certificate... so make sure to come see us on Grand Opening weekend for your chance to win!

"Yesterday's pieces, today's designs."  This simple philosophy captures the spirit behind Piccadilly Prairie (formerly portia/katze designs).  From furniture to furnishings, we re-use and create one-of-a-kinds in a unique/salvage style.

We are an occasional store, so our inventory is fresh with every new month.  Come visit us for stylish vignettes, creative ideas, and the puzzle pieces for making your house a home.  We are open the 2nd weekend of each month.  Our August sale dates are Thursday (8/11)-Sunday (8/14).

See you soon!
