Remember that 80s stuff with the french blue and pictures of geese on everything? Well, this was one of those before I added some paint and broken up dishes, tiles, etc.
OK, this idea isnt new, but its my first one. Got the partial ladder at Habitat ReStore for two bucks and added some scrap wood and leftover paint for a giant plant stand.
A piece of an old chandelier is now a pot holder. (In previous reincarnations it was a modified chandelier, then a kitchen pot rack). Some things just keep evolving.
I spray painted this old dustpan for a nice place to keep my gloves and pruners.
Another $2 Habitat purchase. It had a towel bar on the bottom and was an OD color (thats olive drab, for the uninitiated). I knocked out the towel bar, flipped the shelf over and painted it with leftover paint from my stash (of course). I also put a cuter knob on the door. Then I jammed it between the studs of my new potting shed and secured it with long screws. Now it holds my seeds n stuff.
