A magazine had a contest for making something original from a paper bag. Well, I made the thing, but didnt get around to submitting it. Thought Id share it here.
I started by wetting the bag and forming it to a bottle for shape and let it dry overnight.
I slatherd on a mixture of white glue and water and let it dry overnight.
Then I placed a cut off pop bottle inside to hold water.
I smeared on a very light coat of metallic sheen with my finger. Then I glued on photocopies of old family pictures, lace, seam binding, ribbon, etc. Ta-da! Its done.
