It always puts a smile my face when I pass under this familiar sign. I KNOW that I will find amazing junk and run into friendly like-minded people.
Like these three characters! Jeff Marthalar of Dona Rose Antiques, Cindi Halvorson of The Nature of It, and Barb Verhey. These two ladies got the goods from Jeff before we arrived...in other words they beat us to the punch! Good thing there is plenty of junk to go around! All three of these amazing vendors will be at the JM Under Glass Fall Edition in September.
The shopping crew. Ken Obrien of Mudd Lake, Julie Brunz Broshat of JULZ, and Lanette Lorsung of JMS and Cottage Elements. What a team! On your marks, get set, GO!!!
And then theres this charming youg man, who believe it or not is a veteran at Elko. He looks way too young to be a veteran vendor! Meet Ron Burandt! Ron is the one who sold me the basket from a dishwasher that became the hit of the Country Living Fair last year. Thanks Ron! You can always find amazing stuff in the rough in his booth.
Jeff again...this time with my friend from Haupt Antiek Market, Patti Savoy and a gentleman I just met. Next time Ill write down his name!
You know me...always drawn to stuff with labels. This was in Jeffs booth and he has a pretty cool idea for this baby for JM Under Glass Fall Edition.
Ken and Julie. What can I say...they like antlers! Julie I hate to tell you, but the antlers may be too big for a belt buckle. Ah,hahahaha!
Love, love, love this sign. It all started with one Hagie in business as a corn feed company and then another one joined and the name became Untied Hagies. The vendors know the stories behind their wares.
Cool beans!
Bottles may seem a little tired, but when you put them together in a large group I just cant stay away from them.
Richard Larson, Shayne Barsness of Style Minneapolis, and Jenna Ebson of La La Land in Chaska, Minnesota all take a seat on Richards too cool day bed with a vintage country club feel. After the shop on madness its good to take a little rest!
What are most of us doing there besides selling, shopping, and having fun? Were getting ready for the JUNKMARKET Under Glass Fall Edition brought to you by Otten Bros. The dates are September 7, 8, 9, and 10. Mark your calendars and visit JUNKMARKET Style Events website  for all of the details. Jeff was kind enough to give the cards a baby motel chair of their own and an ice cold beverage to boot!

Trader's Market in Elko, MN is a time honored tradition here in Minnesota. It happens three times per year, on the weekends of Memorial Day, Forth of July, and Labor Day. Visit their website for all of the details at  http://www.tradersmarket.us/. I love going to this market because it is a down home family experience and one filled with friends that I have come to know and love througout my years as a flea market shopper. If you have a chance...make sure to visit. You'll be glad you did! Happy 4th of July to all!!!
