Oh, this lamp is sooooo 1970s!  Ya know, some of the best things were made in the 70s, like ME!  haha!  Just kidding.
A few fresh coats of white spray paint was all this pretty bird needed.
Here it is in all its glory with its fancy-schmancy shade counterpart!
Yes, thats my wonderful family in the photos.  Theyre fancy too!  HA!  Theyre so not.

Found this hideously atrocious lamp at a yard sale and thought of all the beautiful lamp transformations I've seen on JMS.  I'm very happy with how it turned out and just in time for Independence Day.  Happy 4th to all of my JMS friends!

gamecockchic writes: OOK, I had the same problem with the photos being too big but I finally figured out a way to make them work. Here's what I do:
1. Go to "My Pictures".
2. Highlight the photos you want to post.
3. Right click and click "send to", then click "email". This will open an outlook email with the photos attached. Don't worry, you're not sending an email though.
4. Once the email comes up with the photos attached, right click on the 1st photo, click open.
5. Once the photo is open, click file (upper left corner), click make a copy, choose small or medium and then save to a folder in your photos.

I made a file named "smalls" just for the small versions of my photos. This will not alter your original photo. It's just a copy.

Hope this helps.

I cannot figure out how to get them posted on here. Pop up always tells me they are too big to post. I love the eagle good job.

Happy 4th to you too.
