Old Wooden Locker

1.       Picked up at a junky “antique” place – super cheap – super filthy

2.       Tested for lead – it is safe

3.       Needed many fixes and much glue

4.       The “before” you see is after cleaning and sanding once

5.       Continued to strip and sand about five more times

6.       This revealed about 5 layers of paint and I liked the look

7.       Used a battleship gray paint to blend into the areas I had to “fix”

8.       Interior (except for door) is not aged – just painted gray

9.       Wiped on/off a slurry of “dirt” colored paint to age the piece in particular areas

10.   Husband attached wheels on the bottom

11.   Put a clear coat on – now have a clean usable cabinet.
