Problem: Old TV dies - new TV won't fit in armoir.

Solution: Cut armoir in half, make new top, paint, distress and antique it.

Pattern or design used: My own design

Removed that, tried another type of paint, flaked again, removed that. Third try after consulting a paint expert on why it wasn't sticking. I did to good a job on the polyurethane. We ended up getting a really good cabinet paint. This worked, 3 coats later, distressing, antiquing, walah.
Thanks for all the positive comments. This was a joint project. husband on the wood work and painting, wife on distressing and antiquing. Posted: 4:05 am on June 21st
