Kitchen Cloche

I've had this old colander for awhile, and wasn't quiet sure what to do with it. I flipped it over and thought it might make kind of a neat cloche, I liked the fact that you could see through the wire mesh. I wanted to make some kind of handle for the top, so I dug out some metal cookie cutters, and they didn't look quite right. I dug a little deeper in my stash and found this orphaned squirrel salt shaker. I glued him to the top as my handle. I also created the cake plate for the cloche to sit on. The finishing touch was a little nest and wooden acorns.
