Suitcase Dog Bed
November 16th, 2008 in member junkI started with an old suitcase from my Grandma. The lining was shot so we ripped it out.
The hubs cut two croquet mallets in half and screwed them to the bottom of the suitcase for legs. I cut out foam core for the inside of the lid and the bottom of the suitcase and thin cardboard to line the inside of the lid and the bottom of the suitcase. Brown corduroy covers the foam core and cardboard and is hot glued in to the suitacse. I used my dogs existing pillow bed as the cushion and covered it in tan flannel. We purchased a belt from the thrift store to cut and hot glue around the legs.
