"Wining Allowed!"

Ive had this long black side piece in my dining area for awhile.  Its an inexpensive piece from Ikea.  I tend to change it up quite often and a few recent purchases give me inspiration for another redo.
These were my inspiration pieces.  Funny thing is one corbel was purchased at a store in Anoka and the other two at a separate store about 45 minutes away.  They are identical and must have been salvaged from the same place.  I think they were destined to be together once again!
I love the chippiness of the pieces.
The corbels work great to hold one bottle of wine each.  My wine bar is beginning to take shape.
Each bottle was purchased according to how the bottle looked.  What can I say?  Its the decorator in me.  Love the look of this bottle!
I had purchased these two iron pieces a while back.  I believe they originally were patio pieces.  They fit great under the Ikea piece.  The slated shelves hold wine bottles perfectly.  But I still needed something to  hold the wine glasses.  The grate works great both funtionally and decoratively.
I love the details on side of these pieces.
The other piece will hold coffee cups and plates.  I guess the wine bar also doubles as a dessert bar.  Like Sue would say, its a two-fer!
Above that piece I used an old mirror as a tray. On top of that it holds a cake plate along with additional plates and coffee cups.
These vintage Pyrex bottles add some embellishments to the bar.  They hold just some twigs and a single paper flower.  I like to keep it simple.
Another inexpensive Ikea purchase was this picture frame, a mere $1.  I printed the cute saving off my computer.  And if men are like wine, mine must be Dom Pérignon.  Yep...hes a keeper!
So there ya have it!  Cheers!

Have you ever noticed how some of us junkers love to make wine bars?  Hmmm....what what that means?  But I guess I'm no exception.  So here you have my version of a "junker's" wine bar.

CottageElements writes: Thanks, y'all! We might have to have a "wine and cheese" party at our next JMS event! Sounds like a fun idea to me anyway. Marge, you are always invited to my house. Maybe next time you're up in the city. And you can bring those Pfarkels sisters with you. That goes for you Laurel. You can come anytime as you are close :) As to you, RustyDiva, I think you could make a great display with Vodka, Tequila, Rum....or all three! Again, cheers!

Lani

PS I think "Cheers" will be my new tag line :)

I think it is so cool that you found these chippy pc at different places only to bring them back together.
You have inspired me to work on my wine display -ING instead of just wine Taste -ING..

EmmasNookandGranny writes: Hey Lani, those corbels are lookin' a little familiar! Great vision and fab end result! The whole wine bar is gorgeous. If I weren't so far away, I'd be over around 5:00. ~Marge Posted: 12:30 pm on April 25th
