Turning up the heat on SPRING!

Not looking so hot here when I brought it home, but when I saw it I knew I wanted it in my yard and planted!

finding a plantable container to fit inside was definitely a challenge, but this old metal cup with a handle happened to fit perfectly! It just needed a couple of nail holes in the bottom, a little dirt and some violas. I screwed it to the deck rail on my front porch and its done!

It didn't always look this cool!

No longer feeling the heat, this old heater register hold some cool spring color.
