Tearing the tapes apart. (Wow! In previewing this post, I noticed a face on the right hand side of the picture out of the VHSs; two eyes and a red mouth.)
Miles and miles of tape.
I used the tape as decorative nesting material in the bottom of a bird cage. I also plan to use it as packing for parcels to ship. Any other ideas? Theres lots of it.
I used the reels as ribbon/cording savers.

I was cleaning out the media cupboard. Instead of just throwing out the old VHSs I dismantled them to see what I could do with them. It's so much fun tearing things apart.

And if you do some weaving, it might be kind of fun to pull some tape from cassette tapes and/or micro-cassettes so you have different widths to work with. I wonder how wide that tape is in those old 8-track tapes I have at home. Posted: 1:07 pm on April 15th

Talk about an amazing office chair! Hmmmmmm.....where are the old "Barney" movies???? Posted: 4:48 am on April 8th
