Its no secret.....I love to build from salvage. Now that its not -30 below, I can crawl around in my sheds and dig out junk to build with. I started making bird houses from old reclaimed cedar yesterday. I also made another head board garden bench that they are sitting on.
I have a whole pile of old horse tack, so I decided to add some to the bird houses for fun. I put some old metal tin on the roof and old hardware. You can see that in the first picture.
I make many garden plant stands. This one is from more old cedar and guess what the inside metal grate is?
Its a grill from an old farm tractor. It will be perfect to drain away water from the plants.

Finally, I am back out in the wood shop, woohoo! It has been a long winter. We still have lots of snow, but I have to get my lazy winter butt busy for the summer shop season.
