Okay, so I am not really sure what sparked my love for all things junk but lately I have really taken to CL and just about any other place I can find treasure to restore or reuse in my home! Heres a few pics of my latest projects...I think I am in LOVE!
Another junk find for $20!!!! This was a custom job...lady wanted it for her newborn sons nursery. She had the coolest bedding that I matched the colors on the dresser with! Congrats, Katie on your new baby!

Okay, so here are a few pics of my newly found love-junkin'! I have since started a biz that I have so affectionately called Me & My House which promises to be a hit here on the island of Oahu! I think I am in LOVE!

MimiToria writes: Hi and welcome to the site. You've done some great things thus far, and I can tell you will have much success with your new venture. You will probably have a unique market for it in Hawaii. What a great place to be living.
Thought you might be interested in checking out this site I stumbled across and really enjoy. This gal moved from England to Australia with a few suitcases and a full fledged family. Her goal was to furnish a beach cottage with second hand finds that she recreated. That is what her blog is about. However, she is in the process of turning this into a business. It is a beautiful blog, and thought of you when I read your post. I think you'll find it inspiring. If you have the time, start at the beginning and read to present. It is amazing!

We are so lucky to have great sites like Junk Market style to inspire us and it has been a great site to make friends through. I hope you continue to post future awesome projects that you create. You're very talented.

I DON'T go anywhere without checking out the local junk stores and flea markets. What a fun thing you have done in customizing these dressers. Welcome to our world of junk and friends..we all share the same BUG! Georgia Posted: 2:25 pm on December 24th

Congrats on taking the plunge and starting your own business. With pieces like you posted you're off to a great start.

I think you are the only member from the islands so far, but with what you are doing this is only the beginning! Keep up the good work.

Be well,
Sue

P.S. I had my wedding on your beautiful island at the "Pink Palace". It's an experience I will never forget! Posted: 8:40 am on December 22nd
