I picked up this adorable distressed blue table top out of a garage at an estate sale years ago knowing that it had potential.  I searched a salvage store for some old legs and had no luck but I was able to find some slightly imperfect heavy pine legs on ebay for an affordable price.    Went to my local home improvement store and found the hardware I needed for attaching the pine apron to the legs and then just used some L brackets to attach the base to the table top.  I simply stained the wood in a medium brown stain to already match the old color on the top.   This was a fun, fast & easy project!
