I was already in the process of painting this antique coffee table black, over someone elses previous and unfortunate raspberry color.
Decided to highlight the very cool wood filigree on the sides with a brass color.  Apparently, brass is the Steampunk metal of choice.
Add some repro metal tin ceiling panels, which had been shabby chic white but got a coat of black and the same brass highlights.
Attached them with round brass screws at each corner.  The more brass, the better.
If this  doesnt sell as is I may decide to add more small brass items to the table, like gears and stuff, when I find them.

Just learned about Steampunk's antique / victorian attraction a few days ago so thought I would try to draw some of the local Seattle Steampunk home decor market.
