I loved the look of this piano stool, but pink is not my colour. I thought I'll just bring it home and strip it and stain it.lol

It was an awful project, took me forever to get the pink paint and the layers of stain and goo off, had to walk away and leave it for a month and then go back too it. took me forever to get the paint off the glass and brass feet, and i was definetly cursing the person that pained it. thank God its done, and I no longer see pink paint in my sleep.

oldnews writes: It looks GREAT! I just aquired 2 of these and they are also in the absolute worst condition. They were left out in the weather and the wood is such a mess, seat is cracked in half, brass is rusty, and I am DREADING working on them with all the carved legs. I start and walk away too! I'm trying to get inspired by yours...really trying! Thanks for sharing! Marie Posted: 9:36 pm on February 21st

RustyDiva writes: Why would anyone paint that pink? The wood color and the feet are gorgeous! I just can't imagine getting that paint out of every little nook and cranny. You did a great job! Congrats. Posted: 1:34 pm on February 21st
