MY RUSTY, JUNKY BITS

All the gang gathered together for a family photo:-) These pieces are usually scattered around my house bringing lots of junky joy.
An old, old rusty sifter turned bowl for holding junk I have collected. I love the white curtain tie backs...so thick with paint and rust.
A little caddy that I loved at first sight. Bought at an Estate Sale it was greasy and all scratched up before it became the pretty shade of blue it is now. Frequently a new little piece of junk is added to it.
My pieced together cloche. The bottom part is a hurricane lamp globe, and the top part is something I picked up thrifting.
See the big metal basket full of dried hydrangeas? It usually sits in front of my fireplace, or in the Fall it sits outside holding my gourd collection.

I have so many little rusty, junky bits that I have gathered them all together and they proudly show themselves off all around my house.  I started to say just rusty bits, but I was afraid you would think I was referring to my aging body...HA! I do have a lot of rusty bits there too...aging ain't for sissys!

I posted the pictures on my blog, and joined Donna at Funky Junk...you really should visit and see the others who have joined her there too.

http://www.artteachergirl.blogspot.com is where I hang out.
