Sometimes you're stuck in a junking rut and those oh-so creative ideas escape you. When you find yourself harboring a case of "junker's block," remember one important thing: simplicity is divine. Grab a favorite photo and crank away!

Junk Market Style Difficulty Meter

Materials:

Vintage wooden vise
Old or new wooden frames
Photos to accommodate frame size
Wood cleaner/Wood finish
Fine sandpaper
Spray paint

Tool List:
Hammer

Method:

Step 1: Clean vise with wood finish.


 A good finish brings out the wood's vibrancy.

      Step 2: Spray backs of wooden frames to give a finished look.

Step 3: Lightly sand the frames when dry. 


 "Junk up" that frame!

      Step 4: Insert your photo into the frame and secure back with a finishing nail or staple.

Step 5: Place framed photos into vise and twist fairly tight. You don't want your frames slipping out.
