Vintage Vise Frame
August 18th, 2008 in projectsSometimes you're stuck in a junking rut and those oh-so creative ideas escape you. When you find yourself harboring a case of "junker's block," remember one important thing: simplicity is divine. Grab a favorite photo and crank away!

Materials:
Vintage wooden vise
Old or new wooden frames
Photos to accommodate frame size
Wood cleaner/Wood finish
Fine sandpaper
Spray paint
Tool List:
Hammer
Method:
Step 1: Clean vise with wood finish.
| A good finish brings out the wood's vibrancy. |
Step 2: Spray backs of wooden frames to give a finished look.
Step 3: Lightly sand the frames when dry.
| "Junk up" that frame! |
Step 4: Insert your photo into the frame and secure back with a finishing nail or staple.
Step 5: Place framed photos into vise and twist fairly tight. You don't want your frames slipping out.
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.
