Painted in my fav. shabby style, and we added some primitive wood from an old door.
Great design, but a cracked seat sent this chair to the alley.... until I showed up:)
New look, new home... surrounded by other shabby junk :)

We found this old chair.... it was very sturdy, but had a cracked seat.  Lots of sanding and some new (I mean "old") wood for a seat, and this beauty turned out great !

NDJunkGirl writes: I love your new chair! The details of it are spot on - I would not have been able to pass it up either. Chairs are that great piece of furniture that can add so much to any room and you did a great job in restyling yours!! Love the shabby paint job and that seat was a genius idea!
