We have had this carrom board in the shop for too long. It was time for it to meet the table saw. They got along very well.
We cut off the two ends, added shelf supports that I picked up at a sale, done. They would look awesome in a game room or even a kids room.
This is how they look from the top. I didnt decorate them, sorry. They are going to the shop for the Jan. Sale.
I think the pockets are just FUN. Kids would have a blast putting things in them.

Is is super cold up here, -20, so it's time for projects. This is just a fast, fun project. I am going to make a checker table out of the rest of the board. Nothing goes to waste up here.

We cut the board on a good table saw and you have to go really slow. It didn't splinter at all. I was afraid of that, but we didn't have any problem. I cut all of my wood projects on the table saw.

Happy "junkin"
