The real cut tree was placed in an old tub to emulate as if it was a live variety. A great junk touch that removes the need for a traditional tree skirt!
Garland is both burlap and white torn sheets.
Three vintage licence plates from Anything Goes Here Etsy offers the tree its main theme. Pretty. Junkin. Cool. :)
Vintage tap handles from Anything Goes Here Etsy set inside canning jar lids provided the perfect junk treatment.
Among other decor not shown: plenty of family memorabilia such as my mothers glasses and watch, vintage clothespins and old keys. A junkin wonders dream tree. :)
A cutie pie antique sleigh sits patiently behind the tree waiting to display presents. It offers such a cute backdrop to the tree.
No junk tree is complete without a quirky star! A cultivator blade sent by a blog follower (thanks Iris!) provided the PERFECT finishing touch to this rusty tree rendition.

Finding the perfectly imperfect cut tree was the perfect starting point in this little Christmas creation. I label this one my Whoville Junk Memory Christmas tree. :)

Plenty of rust, memorabilia, and thrifty no cost ways complete the exact look I was ultimately after.

Many more photos (that can also be enlarged) can be seen on the original blog post HERE.

Who says rusty relics can't sparkle for the holidays?!?
