I could see the potential in this little caned chair as soon as I saw it at the junk store.  I had purchased some vintage barkcloth months earlier and was saving it for just the right chair.  I had finally found the right one and out came the barkcloth and the paint.  I completely re-upholstered this chair from the bare bones.  I think this chair really is beautiful and am tempted to keep it for myself.  I do, however, have it listed as I cannot keep everything I save and refurbish.  :)

Along with my vintage finds and restoration, I have started a new Etsy store with vintage like signs and shelves.  www.etsy.com/shop/SophiasSignBoutique

I am excited to announce that JW Upholstery will be offering upholstery courses in Minneapolis.  If you are interested, you can contact me through my Etsy listing on the URL of this project.
