Rope and ribbon....a nice alternative to your standard bow!
A corn planter becomes a wreath stand.
A door in need of leveling provided a nice base for the wreath stand. No waste!! The back piece (technical term) was screwed on to the door scrap.
The front of the planter clipped on to the edge.
Whala! Is that how you you spell that? Hmmm.... It is today!
The handle is a perfect hanger.
Love the raw metal workings with the beautiully aged red wood.
On to the wreath itself. My choice is a Noble/Incense Cedar/Blueberry Juniper. Love, love, love! Great color and texture. Very little needs to be added to make this baby beautiful. I start with some chubby twine or rope.
Add a piece of Prime Junk like this amazing lock. The weathered red made it the right choice.
Feathers and berries come next.
Finish it up with a small amount of ribbon...
And you are ready to party!

You all know I opt out of standard for something a little less conventional. Imagine that!!! A wreath on a stand can pair nicely with other outdoor porch decor or one could be very inviting on a front entry hall table.
