On my lunchbreak I was running through King William, a historic district south of San Antonio, and came across all this great chippy moulding on a curb ready for someone like me to rescue it. I figure if it came out of this house, it must be over a hundred years old. Score! The first thing I wanted to do with it was make a big chalkboard. I used chalkboard paint on masonite, and to my surprise the moulding already had an edge routed out, perfect for the chalkboard.
