This is what I call a re-purposed repurpose. Do you remember this hat case from my front porch? Well, I moved it right back inside and created a spa package for guests!
Ahahaha! These cheaters make me laugh. If your old enough to need cheaters you may as well wear vintage ones!
Plush towels, a sea sponge, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Youll be squeaky clean and smelling sweet!
Your, back, your arms, your feet. Weve gotcha covered.
A wash cloth is the key to getting really clean.
An old dough bowl and some rocks make an ideal spa like candle holder.

I love having family and friends stay at my home during the holidays. Providing them with some of the comforts of home is always a nice touch. I have yet to meet a person who doesn't want to indulge in a candlelit bath to soak all of their cares away!

Did you make this?
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.

georgiamoon writes: SisMia, Cheaters are the little glasses tucked into the towels for all of us that are old enough to need reading glasses, but too vain to admit it and have their very own pair. Now as far as I can see...which isn't very far...these would really come in handy if you didn't need to wear glasses at all times! MY husband always asks for cheaters in restaurants when he forgets his own...I'd love to see him in these!! Posted: 2:05 pm on November 9th

bolmscheid writes: Absolutely love it and laughed out loud at the cheaters ... which is about all you can do at my age when they are mandatory ... I'm on my way to look for the vintage kind as we speak ... thanks for making my day!

georgiamoon writes: Many's the day that I want to run away to your house Sue, and have you take care of me...do I need to make a reservation? Awwww...I feel calmer just looking at the soothing colors and comforts of that spa kit. You know how to do it right! I'd keep that box ready and full... you may have just caused a stampede to your house! Enjoy, Georgia Posted: 2:11 pm on November 7th
MimiToria writes: Love your spa project colors as well as items. What a great idea! Thanks for the tip about the smelling deal too, as I don't have a sense of smell, so it makes it difficult when shopping for junk finds and not knowing if things smell or not. Now I can just use your suggestions in the future.

suewhitney writes: Thanks Kim and Janis. Janis, the first thing you can do If we have any left) is open it up and let it set outside in the sun for a day or two. After that spray with Febreeze and put a dryer sheet inside and close for a couple o days. That should do it for you!

Take care,

fellowjunker writes: This is really cute Sue. I have some old hat boxes, but find they smell very musty inside so generally keep them shut. Do you have any tips for removing the musty odor?
Thanks.
