Yes indeed, these are very cool in their original state, but wait til you see Dwaynes take on the rolls!
Meet Dwayne. You can see by this photo that he has a charming personality to go along with his creativity.
Some of the route signs are small...
And some are large.
Here is a sneak peek at what Dwayne has come up with for the route signs. He has a whole furniture and accessory line giving the signs purpose in life. Note the picture of the double decker buses where these signs once lived.
He distresses the farbric and then uses it to upholster furniture. How he does it is his secret.
He also does pillows and table runners.
Here is another look. Notice he is cutting strips and combining different routes. No waste...brilliant!
Remember I said we got to talking? When I showed up in Atlanta Dwayne had a surprise waiting or me. Notice my skirt. Yeppers...made from British route signs. I was THRILLED! I wore it when I gave my main stage presentation and the women went wild. Did I say love!!
Thanks Dwayne for my very special gift. Dwayne will be or has launched a new clothing line. Check out his website for all the details. http://www.britishroutesigndesigns.com or....
look for him at a show tent near you. Youll be glad you did!

I had the pleasure of meeting Dwayne at the Country Living Fair in Ohio this fall. We got to taling creatively and one thing led o another. You've proaly seen these route signs shown and used in their original state, but Dwayne takes them to a whole new level. What he does is pure genius. Take a look....

We love Dwayne too, we were so lucky to have him as a vendor at one of our Funky Junk Sisters shows. My son actually worked for him in his booth. His stuff is wonderful and unique!
