I originally used a suede cording and sterling silver findings.... but I wanted bigger and bolder.. so I swapped for the pearl/goldtone chain. I doubled it for a more dramatic effect.
I made the base from cutting out little rectangles from a ceiling tin strip I got from Junkin Lindsey in the junk swap.
Remember that case o jewels I found in the just what the junker ordered post? Well, I layered two of the pieces for the center piece!
Heres the rest of my DOTR Collection. Im thinking Im going to go big and gold with these necklaces too.
Oh btw Heres that tin piece I got from Junkin Lindsey in the Junk Swap
....looks more like Pearls on the Rust. LOL

OK The pictures say it all... but in short.. here's an item I created one day using a nice rusted piece from the Junkin Lindsey in the junk swap and my jewelry stash........ Hence Diamonds on the Rust!
