Queen Anne Chair and End Table.

Queen Anne Chair and End Table.

The poor little chair was in dire trouble. The arms had fallen off, the seat cushion was missing. Tightened the joints, added some paint, foam, and upholstery fabric, and voila' good as new... maybe better?

Now the end table, evolved from a sewing cabinet. I like the style, just shortened the legs to to an acceptable height. Removed the top for the sewing machine and replaced it with the lid to the cabinet. A light sanding, and some buff colored paint, a little antiquing, and the end table was created. I toyed with the idea of removing the little door in the back, but left it for a secret compartment which can hold hidden treasures (or maybe just a remote or two.)

Well done!
