This cuff was made of a vintage shoe buckle from France...and a leather scrap I cut and added snaps. It was also adorned with a rhinestone barrette.
Before picture of 2 occasional/side tables. The left one I purchased for a couple bucks at a church rammage sale a year ago. The yellow I found on the street the other day.... I know, I know, Im on a strict no buy/find diet... but it had SO much potential!
After picture of the 2 tables. The white one was distressed with sandpaper. I rubbed both of them down with wood color wax and antique gold rub n buff.
This is the before AND after of 3 random pieces Ive picked up over the past year. I painted the plaque cream. Like the dancer, I painted the plate holder black.  I attached the dancer to the plaque and voila.... lol
I want to add a saying or verse to it.... What do you suggest?
This is my OOAK Blog contest give-a-way. Its a necklace I made some time ago but was to shy to share. Anywho its a 25 chain with a tri-part 3 pendant: cherub, crystal bead and bejeweled clock face. The back is a copper piece with that lovely french phrase... Je taime plus quhier moins que demain which translate I love you more than today but not as much as tomorrow

So fun to be able to turn trash into treasures.
Way to go with the jewels too. How fun!

The yellow table redo made a huge difference
