This gorgeous piece of vintage hardware was beckoning me, but I just didnt feel the need to splurge on this piece.  It would make an awesome photo prop, but I passed it by, but instead took a memorable photo to remember it by.
I did buy 2 of these pieces, but later found a mother load of them at extremely great prices, so thankful.
During a rainstorm, my friend Robyn and I spent it in a jewelry vendor tent.  I picked through a bin of pieces and purchased a bunch of these things from one vendor.
Loved this vendor guy!  Robyn found him and shared the booty with me.  He had great deals on keys, misc. items and such.
This very cool jar topper was a mere .50.  Deal!
Found a great buy in hardware at one vendor rack.  Bought tons of these for redesigning with and at a great price.  Love the patina too....
Love, love, love vintage hardware such as this for redesigning with.  Again, these have fabulous patina and the Price was Right.
I bought 42 pieces of rusty, crusty, patinaed hardware a this vendor booth and even found a few rusty butterfly style hinges that found their way home in my stash.
These gorgeous, rusty, patinaed vintage hinges have been cleaned up, spray protected and have been hard at work being photo props.
To see an example check out my blog, as I cant get those photos to resize correctly to post on Junk Market site.
Love, love, love this bracelet as is.  It is in my own personal collection now. :)
Miriam Haskell style gorgeous vintage earrings, which one of them has already been redesigned with.  Loved these on site.
To top off a great day, I met a new friend, Jenni, a fellow jewelry designer while at the Junkologie Blog Party.  Now how could I top off this day?

Many of you know that I am a contributor on this site and mostly showcase my vintage redesign jewelry pieces.  This time I'm taking you with me shopping at a Minnesota annual flea market and will show you what I looked for, found and purchased for my jewelry business.

As Lani seems to find the heavist items at the shows, I'm happy to report that my finds all fit snugly in a back pack. :)

Pattern or design used: My own design - Gretchen of www.mimitoriasdesigns.blogspot.com .

Did you make this?
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.

RustyDiva writes: Drooling over your first pic!!! I'm not a jewelry designer but I've always been attracted to the smalls. I love little trinkets so your finds are right up my alley. I will dig through bins and boxes at thrift stores for hours and usually they give a pile of it away for .50 or 1.00. You found some awesome stuff. LOVE the little bottle stopper! Congrats!
