Necklace made of liquor label, crystal beads, charms, rhinstone lettering and the chain is from a vintage Art Deco purse.
Vintage necklace paired with a miniature purse from the doll section at the craft store... LOL
This was a mix-match of 5 different vintage jewelry pieces. The chains dont match.... the band is part earring and part barrette...maybe...LOL
These two pieces compliment each other. They were blended from 3 vintage chains, a key hole plate, skeleton key part, chandelier crystals, and a crystal bead. It was definitely fun making!
This is my attempt at one of those fashionable bib necklaces thats so in right now. LOL
The base is cut from a DIOR suitcase that was destroyed. The craft store flowers were left overs I paired together with a dismembered rhinstone bracelet. OH and the chain and gold circle danglies were from an 80s chain belt....and ribbon bows and voila! hahahaha!

I've been busy making jewelry over the past couple of days. They were refashioned out of vintage jewelry, liquors labels, belts, purse chains, skeleton key part, and key hole plate.... OH and a my favorite... and old Dior luggage case.... cut up of course.... thus earning the name REMIXED. Please enjoy!

Thanks to Gretchin for inspiring me to go back to my jewelry creations. It's where I started!

I always find it interesting when I'm an inspiration to others. :) Was it this post that inspired you?

Keep up the good work, and you'll soon have a house overtaken with jewelry treasures like me, and you'll be a happy and busy little bee.

See you in 2 weeks.

54girl writes: Beautiful jewelry!! You did a great job! We had some liquor labels like that only they were different colors. We sold them at Oronoco this last weekend and thought they would make great jewerly for someone. Don't know if that's what they are going to do with them or not. Love them all!! JunkyAuntJo writes: Thanks for the sourcing info Ang. I've become a regular at the York PA Salvation Army store, Goodwill, and Resource York. Resource York is where contractors and remodelers as well as retailers like Lowes donate items salvaged from old buildings and extra materials left over from jobs. Posted: 9:38 am on August 24th

byabpryor writes: Hi JunkyAuntJo... I'm in Jersey. I get many of my things online and at the thrift store.... from the thrift store I get junk jewelry. Online (Supply on Etsy) I get my charms (like the birdies, effiel tower charms etc). The liquor labels I got from eBay. The crystal lettering, flowers and jumprings I get from Michaels & AC Moore Craft Stores....

OH and I got the destroyed DIOR luggage from my local

HTH... I hope this helps!
