How fun is this fall display? I dont want to sell any of it.
We welded an old drinking cup to one of the disc blades.
We made a fun stand out of more of the disc blades.
This was the rock basket from the top of the field disc.

I just spent a few days with my Dad on our family farm. We had way too much fun. He taught me how to weld. I welded the scarecrow frame from rebar. We took apart an old field disc that he no longer uses, and recycled it into great pieces for fall displays.

bluebucket writes: Great projects. Welding is on my list of things to learn. I've had one lesson already from my son. I really want to get into welding big garden art like birds, flowers etc. from junk. If only I didn't have a million and one other projects to do . . . sigh.
