Instant fireplace with a little inspiration added.
Love the rustiness of this old gas furnace.  I just shined it up a bit and put it in the corner of my office.  No fire hazard here and yes I light them all!!
A few thrift store finds to decorate the top and my instant fireplace is complete.  I like the way the light wrapped reeds coming out of the pot look like flames reaching up to the sky.

I absolutely love the old rusty metal and cast iron stoves.  I scored 3 of these babies awhile back for $5 a piece.  I have one in my entry way at home, one on my front porch and one left over.  Since I spend a lot of time at work, it just made sense to bring the other to my office.  Everybody needs a fireplace in their office - don't they???  We have strict policies about burning candles  and this little rusty beauty just fit the safety requirements.  I work with my lights off and candles blazing on stressful days and the light filled pot on top just adds to the ambiance.  The inspirational block is right at home nestled in the twigs and it keeps me grounded.
