Scavenged the feeder from the scrap metal dumpster. Since there are 4 in my family, I stenciled that number. I like it, but want it to look more faded, not like it screams 'just stenciled.' I'm too chicken (ho ho) to sand, as it might totally mess it up. Any suggestions?

MakinItHappen writes: If you sand it lightly with a fine-grain paper, it won't mess it up. Just start out rubbing gently until you find the right pressure. Or you could try using a coarse Scotchbrite pad. Posted: 11:02 am on July 26th
