Have I ever told you that my feet look like Fred Flinstones feet? My centeroiece is ready so now Im going to let my feet get the Flinstone mobile rolling to the picnic.
Remember this cool piece I bought from my friends the Pfarkel sisters? Well its serving its first re-purpose.
The metal band around the middle is just what the junk Dr. ordered.
A piece of chalk was all I needed to get my message across.
Badabada-bing cherries!
They look oh so good in the bottom of this once kerosene jug.
I think you now how I feel about those store bought flag sticks...right? I just took the little flag off the stick and glued it to a twig using Gorilla Super Glue.
And thar she blows.
And thar she blows again! Happy 4th to everyone...have fun and be safe!

I love the 4th of July and all it has to offer. Good food, good friends, good times....and maybe even a good centerpiece. Ahhahaha! It tends to be my contribution to the neighborhood potluck picnic.

Did you make this?
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.

MimiToria writes: Awesome transformation! So cool you can just use chalk on that piece too, and I love the idea of the twig with the flag instead of store bought. Could of used that idea a few days ago. Something just didn't look right with my cool vintage flags, but their plain old dowel sticks. Thanks for the inspiration.

JunkArchitect writes: Great little project and you can change the look to match the holiday. You did tell me about your Fred Flintstone feet but I never believed it until now. My gawd…they REALLY do!
