I needed to throw together a centerpiece on my coffee table for my son's graduation and came up with this: The base is an old metal sign - worn and rusty.  It works great as a tray!  I added white candles, some old stars, a starfish bought on a trip to Mexico and a great book I found at a thrift store entitled, "Getting the Most out of Life".

Hopefully my son and all graduates get the Most out of Life as they venture down whatever path they choose to take!  This new centerpiece should be "good to go" for the entire season...Happy Summer everyone!

Fjerda writes: Great idea!! We have two metal pieces -one off a old wind mill so, it is a little large for coffe table but the other one is smaller and it is looking for a WI home as it is a badger advertisment. I can share you arrangement with our shopper this week. Posted: 10:23 pm on June 14th
