Just messing around today with some of my latest junk finds, and came up with two different mini cloches.  For this first one I painted out and distressed a wood base and glued a wooden knob to the top of a custard cup.  So then it needed something inside.  Ahh, mini string balls!  Thats it!
A lone ceramic tea strainer + a vintage restaurant plate + another custard cup = another little cloche.  This tme with sea shells.
Have I gone too far?  I think I was feeling silly today!
Now heres the cool thing.....I found this basket at the thrift store for....$1.99!  Not the flowers...they are from my garden!  (Sunflower, dill, lemon balm and yellow daisies)

Junk stuff I made today.  It was so hot, and I didn't feel like working in the garden, but at least we got some good rain.
