My wheels were spinning on this one -- or should I say blades were!

I think my poor windmill might miss these, but I knew they would look cool on a wall.
I mounted it using the base of a lazy susan which had 4 arms --perfect. It enables the blades to spin (of course!).
Photos (or whatever else youd want) can easily be attached with a clothespin.
The blades are pretty big (30 each) so could hold a lot of photos.  And just give it a spin to look at the other ones.
All done and very fun! It is for sale, but Ill probably just keep it and use to post photos people bring me of their projects.

Tulips may not be blooming anymore in West Michigan, but we're never at a shortage of windmills and other Dutch paraphenalia.  So when I spotted this up high in my shortage unit, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.  It wasn't til later that I realized it goes with a windmill sitting beside my house that I meant to rehab.  Yikes!  What to do?  Oh, well, it was too late -- I was excited to give this project a spin!  (I'll worry about the windmill later).

I've got it in my shop which I've been spending a lot of time on trying to make it look decent.  I hope this helps, if nothing else it will add some fun.  With clothespins I've attached photos for a fun photo display.  I might just use it for showing pictures people could bring me of their projects.   But it could also hold messages, business cards, kids artwork, or even a reminder to go scrub the streets, starch your Dutch caps or make some pea soup!

What a hoot! You are so funny. The "mill" is perfect. Adds charm and movement. More space for more stuff. Really Love it.
