I like the idea of the tape - and being able to use special plates without permanently adhering a base (or even a bit of hot glue might work).

We've sold these at shows and use Gorilla Glue epoxy - which is very permanent!!! :)

Love the little bluebird!!!!

Thanks so much for sharing,

MillieBumbleBee writes: UPDATE ON THE Uglu: PROS & CONS Here's the deal on the UGLU. It stays rubbery,.... so .... the fruit I placed on the plates caused the plate to slllooooooowly tip the plate off the base. :( The PRO part, is that it still works for the cupcakes (an event i'm hosting) and the glue can be removed so you don't ruin the plates. shabbyantiques writes: They are really sweet! I love to pair old candlesticks with mismatched plates too. My faves are spraypainted ornate silverplate (white of course)c/h with rose plates on top. Would you share your "glue tape" brand? I use "goop" for many of my projects, but a tape sounds so much easier! Thanks in advance! Posted: 11:30 am on May 23rd
