I heart instant art

this is the first one I did. A coat of black on the frame, and a vintage Dick and Jane workbook (the same one I used to decoupage the little wooden box a few posts back)
This is the second one I did. It's just a magazine page that I've been keeping for years in my 'inspiration' binder. The quote in the top corner reads: "Look for a lovely thing, and you will find it". I thought it was the perfect little picture for a JMS junkie.
the before picture.
I found 4 of these little frames at the auction a while back. They were an ugly yellow-ish color and has faded pictures of mountain scenes in them. I've only got 2 done so far, but I have ideas for the other 2.
Sometimes I think I should fancy the frames up a little more, but I like how basic black can unify frames of all shapes and sizes. no matter what's in the frame, they all 'go' together.
Maybe if I ever get to open a booth/shop I'll give them more detail.
