The telephone nook/booth in its new home!

Before the venerable farmhouse I grew up in was torn down my husband rescued the old telephone nook as a suprise for me. We don't even have a land line anymore, much less phones that aren't cordless, but I have many memories of standing in the little hallway where this nook lived in its Prior life, talking away.  I've had it for quite a few years, but never found the perfect spot for it, but then as we were doing the remodel it came to me.  I love when that happens!
