Wasnt Schmitt beer made in Minnesota? No matter, for those who collect beer cans - holy cow!
Rockler is on site . . . and has a give away! Now just because I got a give away doesnt mean that I was bought off by Rockler :). I have shopped Rockler for years. The impossible to find is at Rockler Woodworking - really! www.rockler.com (BTW, Gorilla glue has a give away, too! I am the glue queen at my house!)
Heres a truth: I have become a Sue Whitney Roadie. I was completely honored to have Sue invite me to attend her class, Vintage Dinner Party Tabletop. Can you believe it! And heres the scoop folks! You are here at the Junkmarketstyle website for a reason and you know that is because you want to have fun. I concur with Sue, dont listen to what you should be - be yourself - enjoy your life - HAVE FUN! Thats what we are all about!
A reminder of still upcoming events. Check out the list of events here: http://www.aajms.com/p/schedule-of-events.html (I hope this link works for you!)
So, now I am kinda sad! AAJMS really made my day and I hate goodbyes! Today I met Sue Whitney, Don (Beefcake of West End Salvage), Lanette Lorsung (Cottage Elements), Shayne Barsness (Style Minneapolis), David Sunderland (Nestled inside Art & Architecture). I am sorry that I didnt get photos of them. You can find them here: http://www.aajms.com/p/event-coordinators-vendors.html. And let me tell you that they are fabulous and I would beg for the chance to bump into them in a single breath.

Sue is the ultimate Eco-Gal! Her event is ringing up thousands - yes - thousands for her charity! That also make her a patriot, this is partially how this country became so great! I too like "green", keeping our planet clean, but, I have another selfish reason to junk. I can't stand the fact that a little piece of history could possibly hit the earth and be forever gone, forgotten. I think that my dad's baby shoes have now become compost somewhere. I am sick to think that they are not on the shelf in my living room. This is why I love junk. I pick it up, I share it, and hopefully pass it on for others to amaze over! Okay! One more really big thing. GO TO ART AND ARCHITECTURE! They have everything. Missing a part in your restoration Dealy-O, they have it! Not missing something - go there anyway - set aside time! Awwww, finished my blog! I hope you enjoyed! Wishing you were here! And Sue, shucks, you are now a part of my life - Thank you my dear! Inspiration is contagious! Ta ta for now! Tami

MimiToria writes: lol Jim, it was free beer at the Gala Affair. You would of been in your glory. :)
Awesome post, and sad to have missed your visit. I was in my jewelry area most of the show, but on Thursday took Kathy and Teri from Ohio and Janis from CANADA out shopping for the afternoon.
Glad you loved the show! It was a blast and thanks for the post.
