Vintage English Liquer tag with grey, white and crystal wire wrapped beads and semi precious gemstones.  Vintage crucifix and mother of pearl teardrop.
Very cool vintage pharmaceutical image set under glass, dangling from a sterling silver ornate trimmed medal with chunky vintage glass beads.
Details of above necklace.  Love the oranate detailing on this ribbon piece as well as the muted blue silk ribbon.
Vintage pocket watch face, signature Mimi-Torias flying sparrow, resin Eiffel tower charm, vintage blings, etc.
NO SALE necklace created with vintage cash register metal tag, number token, vintage coins, vintage beads, garter clip and hand wire coiling.  Junk Style necklace...
Vintage black diamond crystal necklace with bling.
Asymetrical Large Crystal/Silver necklace.
Vintage Girl bottle with pearls.  These bottles were from GreenColleen and the JunkSwap she and I did together through the Junk Market Style swap.  Love working with the bottles.
I FIND JUNK necklace.  Again, thanks to GreenColleen for the mica piece she sent in a our Junk exchange, which I layered over the words.  One of my favorite necklaces.
Sterling Silver lone earring recreated into this focal.  Found piece of junk metal with divets already on it as well as rusted up.  A real find for sure.  Drilled, added words, mica added, layered and layered, then totally wire-wrapped the piece.  Details of above necklace.
Gorgeous vintage cross I found and created into a choker style front toggle clasp statement necklace.
Some people like sparkles and pretties, so must provide for them too.  This is a vintage enamel brooch turned necklace with gorgeous vintage AB Black Diamond Swarovski crystals hand wire wrapped.

I am a dreamer, avid junker and jewelry designer that has chosen through out the 14 years I've been designing to create with vintage elements.  I have stash's everywhere.  Just ask my dh and daughter.  Always looking for fun pieces to create with and be inspired by.  Love what I do.

These are some of the pieces I've created and will be for sale at Sue's event next week in Minneapolis, MN.  It is going to be a blast!

Did you make this?
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.

langi writes: Gretchen: I have admired your work for quite some time. Would you make me a piece from what I send you along with a lot of extras you can keep? My DH is disabled & we are having to downsize & from all that I have I would like one piece from it.I have been told a lot of my "priceless junque" is gonna have to go.Sending you enuf is not a problem as we used to own a pawn shop & have tons of just items that we could not liquidate when we sold out. My email is langi2003ne@yahoo.com if you need to get an answer to me privately. Blessings,Linda Posted: 3:20 pm on June 5th
MimiToria writes: Thanks ladies for the sweet comments. So enjoyed meeting you Sara and your Mom, Julie. Gotta register her sometime and get her going on her. :) She'll be addicted once she breaks that initial ice. I heard Sue's class was really fun and you got her to yourselves for 2 hours. Lucky you! She's a wealth of info.
Email me, and we can become facebook friends. I don't even know your last name Sara.

Love your style! It was great meeting you at AAJMS. I just became a member of Junkmarket Style and will be posting soon. I am still trying to get my mom to register. I will be keeping in touch and like I said if you are looking to come to Madison I can show you the ropes :)

Rebel_Girl writes: Love these Gretchen. I love old junk pieces and collect them along with old pieces of jewerly, in fact last night I was doing some sorting. Looking at your wonderful pieces, I am inspired to get to work on creations myself tonight. But your quality, and craftsmanship is far beyond where I am. Only my friends and family are ever blessed with my work. It is wonderful artist as yourself that inspire me to keep at it. Hope to see your pieces in person one day. Posted: 7:11 am on May 5th
