From Clock Case to Jewelry Box

The finished product.
I love how the graphics on the door front frame the decopaged label inside
dowels topped with nickle studs painted with gold leaf as ring holders
little embellished paper mache boxes for small items
These were as much fun to make as the jewelry case.

I started with a vintage clockcase with a black oxidized alligator finish...wish I knew what happened to my before pic....and it just evolved into a jewelry case after I let it sit out in the studio for a month or so while I worked on other things.
