Vintage Window Frame Bulletin Board

Vintage Window Frame Bulletin Board

Photo: Sherri Spear

This vintage window frame had glass in the top but not in the bottom.  I sanded and waxed the frame, cleaned the glass and cut two small pieces of 1/4" backing then added decorative paper (you could also insert your own photo).  I had purchased an old bulletin board from a garage sale so I removed it's frame and cut it to fit the large bottom opening.  I used spray fabric adhesive to attached a piece of burlap to the bulletin board before inserting it in the opening.  I used glazing points on the back side to to install the picture backing and the bulletin board.  Then added a couple of D Rings so the board could be firmly mounted on the wall.
