I love the sleek industrial look. The best part about this table is that it weighs about 1000 pounds. Feel free to put it outside...even in Kansas. Ha!
Te top is a portion of science lab counter tops from the University of Minnesota. We had a stone mason cut it to size. This was clearly out of my skill set. I love the number! Please be seated at table #4.
Wat could be better than working with vintage product....Minnesota Linseed Oil. I wonder if they even make this any more?
This stuff is pretty darn old, but worked like a charm. Things really do get better with age!
The base, we believe, is part of an old stove...but weve been wrong before so feel free to correct us!
The cobwebs came free of charge. We call that value added!
Just slip the soap stone top on to the base and you are done. OK... so it took 4 strong lads and two girls to do it. We call this hernia inducing junk. TeHe!
Look at these beautiful legs. Not bad for a rusty piece o junk!

Two pieces of fabulous junk come together here to form one very nifty noodle industrial table.

Did you make this?
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.

I CONSTANTLY SEARCH SALVAGE YARDS FOR METAL BASES TO INCORPORATE INTO MY PROJECTS. THESE PIECES ENDURE GENERATIONS OF ABUSE, MISUSE AND OVERUSE AND GET BETTER FOR IT!!! IS THERE A LESSON IN HERE FOR THOSE OF US WHO RUN FROM OUR AGE (I STOPPED COMPETITIVELY WRESTLING AT AGE 50). AGAIN, GREAT PIECE!!
