nothing better than fresh-cut lilacs in a mason jar for a simple and sweet-smelling display
This is one side of my little kitchen. I live the retro flour/sugar cannisters on the counter- they were given to me by my aunt. The old silver breadbox on the counter was found for free at the Crumpton auction. The little cicular sign that I have on the fridge was also found for free. Even my cat Bella, whos perched on the fridge in this pic, was free!
the plate and bowl are vintage childrens dishes, found for free at the auction. I put them in an early post. The Baileys mugs were also free, after a local pub closed and had a free table their last night open. Theyre not vintage, but I loved the facves on them.
lots of old bottles- all free. I like the artic mixer sign too. Its actually a piece of the original box the appliance came in.
this is the other side of my kitchen. The stove is gas, and my Vitameatavegemin sign (I heart Lucy) hangs above it. I think it adds to the retro style.

Since I will be moving soon, I have set out on a mission to document Maryland, including my home, in pictures so that I can look back and remember it fondly. My house is a cottage on a farm, and I think the kitchen has a certain charm to it. I decorated it using alot of vintage stuff, and I thought I'd share it now.
